Starting solids can be an overwhelming time…but you got this mama.
First step is to make sure baby is truly developmentally ready to start.
You can look for these signs that your little is developmentally ready:
* Your child can sit with little or no support.
* Your child has good head control.
* Your child opens his or her mouth and leans forward when food is offered.
It also is important to make sure baby is not over tired or hungry at the start! Including baby when you’re eating allows them to follow you by example and feel included! Choosing appropriate foods are important! Also, being in a good quality high chair is a must!
And lastly support… The most important thing! By working with me I will give you evidence-based support you need to feel comfortable and confident starting solids.
